RockSalt accepted as Member in IMCA for Diving Services

RockSalt Subsea Ltd are pleased to announce receiving Contractor Membership with the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) for the provision of Surface Supplied Diving. IMCA is a leading trade association representing the vast majority of contractors and the associated supply chain in the offshore marine construction industry worldwide. IMCA’s published technical and operational guidance is used globally across the offshore energy industry.

RockSalt’s Managing Director Tony French stated: “RockSalt have grown substantially since our founding in 2016 and provide commercial diving services across a variety of sectors throughout the UK and Europe. Gaining membership within the IMCA Diving Division is a huge achievement for us as a company and will help us further strengthen our growth with existing and new clients.

Coupled with a recent certification award from Bureau Veritas (BV) for In-Water Surveys this adds to RockSalt’s growing reputation as a leading provider of Diving and ROV services. RockSalt provided us with a team of skilled electrical technicians during a critical phase of installation. The experience of the personnel working under our Site Management team helped ensure a controlled installation process in line with the scheduling. Our Site Management team also found a strong improvement on overall quality control with the technicians providing the first completion inspections meaning that fewer punch items were raised during customer inspections. In addition, we utilised a RockSalt technician on a longer-term basis within our QHSE team with very positive effect to our site activities both in terms of safety on the job as well as overall installation quality, especially in relation to ATEX equipment.
