RockSalt Subsea is a subsea contracting company providing commercial diving and ROV services, engineering support and the supply of Technical Authority personnel.

Being an IMCA Member for the provision of Surface Supplied Diving, we work both onshore and offshore within the energy and renewables market and nearshore industry sectors.

We offer tailored, safe and cost-effective commercial solutions for all types of projects. All our projects are delivered with a risk aware and management based approach.

RockSalt's management system is certified to ISO 9001: 2015 and DNV, LR, BV & ABS approved for diving and ROV in-water surveys. We are based in Insch, Aberdeenshire and cover Aberdeen. We also have a base in Newcastle and work across the UK and overseas.

SERVICES

Our team of highly experienced personnel work in the toughest of conditions, undertaking important and necessary tasks that help keep people and equipment safe. We perform a range of duties underwater, from inspections, structural assessments, construction, cleaning and engineering to salvage work and material recovery services.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Rocksalt uses its expertise to give advice and support to others, by providing diving safety management advice and diving constultancy services.

RockSalt provided us with a team of skilled electrical technicians during a critical phase of installation. The experience of the personnel working under our Site Management team helped ensure a controlled installation process in line with the scheduling. Our Site Management team also found a strong improvement on overall quality control with the technicians providing the first completion inspections meaning that fewer punch items were raised during customer inspections. In addition, we utilised a RockSalt technician on a longer-term basis within our QHSE team with very positive effect to our site activities both in terms of safety on the job as well as overall installation quality, especially in relation to ATEX equipment.
