Diving is at the core of RockSalt’s business, providing safe and reliable diving equipment and personnel to allow efficient implementation of both inshore and offshore operations. With a proven track record of excellent knowledge and performance in the field, RockSalt is fast becoming the go-to company for any inshore construction and survey, structural and vessel survey work and general underwater vessel maintenance. RockSalt’s dive portfolio has extensive experience in undertaking unique projects, bringing solutions to every situation.

RockSalt has developed a system for fast mobilising diving equipment, which is key to supporting the needs of our clients where the constraints of time and cost affects their daily operations.

In addition to successful diving operations, RockSalt supplies “Observation Class” ROV systems for hire to further support the client’s needs. A fleet of five Forum Super Mohawks all supplied with a range of lightweight, compact LARS and container, which can be tailored to the client’s requirements; making it ideal for platform or vessel operations.

The Forum Super Mohawk is a fully electric, general purpose, professional ROV system that is reliable and easily maintained. It provides a compact, high thrust, garage-deployed system designed to accommodate light underwater intervention tasks in support of oil and gas drilling, IRM and the renewables sector.

RockSalt provided us with a team of skilled electrical technicians during a critical phase of installation. The experience of the personnel working under our Site Management team helped ensure a controlled installation process in line with the scheduling. Our Site Management team also found a strong improvement on overall quality control with the technicians providing the first completion inspections meaning that fewer punch items were raised during customer inspections. In addition, we utilised a RockSalt technician on a longer-term basis within our QHSE team with very positive effect to our site activities both in terms of safety on the job as well as overall installation quality, especially in relation to ATEX equipment.
