RockSalt Subsea Ltd is a leading subsea contracting company headquartered in Insch, Aberdeenshire, with an additional operational base in Newcastle. Since our establishment in 2016, we have specialised in delivering high-quality commercial diving and Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) services, alongside engineering support and the provision of Technical Authority personnel.

We operate across both onshore and offshore environments, serving clients in the oil & gas, renewable energy, and nearshore infrastructure sectors.

As a proud IMCA Member for Surface Supplied Diving, RockSalt Subsea is committed to delivering tailored, safe, and cost-effective solutions for a wide range of subsea challenges. Our integrated management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, and our services are accredited by DNV, Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas, and ABS for diving and ROV in-water surveys.

Our diving support vessel, MV Equinox, is fully equipped to handle nearshore operations, with capabilities enhanced by a portable ROV for survey and inspection tasks.

To further support operational safety and readiness, we maintain a Therapeutic Dive Decompression Chamber (DDC) onsite at our Insch facility—ensuring swift emergency response and diver support when needed.
